Lara Baumback joined the McMillan Commincators team in 2009 as a Senior Public Relations Consultant.

While completing a Bachelor of Business majoring in PR and Advertising at the Queensland University of Technology, Lara was recognized as one of the top PR performers, being awarded the Phillips Group Prize for best overall performance in Public Relations Campaigns, and held a place on the Dean’s List for Academic Excellency.

Having previously worked in the lifestyle industry as a PR coordinator, as well as writing for a home and gardening magazine and freelancing for international organisations Lara brings diverse public relations and written communication experience to the MC team.

At McMillan Communicators, Lara works across their diverse range of fashion, beauty, tourism and finance clients, facilitating top publicity opportunities and campaigns.

Lara’s favorite event so far was managing the heavily publicised LYLAH Spring Summer Fashion show. She also implemented the launch campaign for client Dreamfarm’s 2010 product launch and aided the major project of media exposure for the 2009 Arc Biennial of Art.
